What is H3EM?

Health Humanities at Hopkins Emergency Medicine (H3EM) is a multi-disciplinary initiative that encourages education, scholarship, and innovation in the medical humanities and social emergency medicine. H3EM aims to provide practitioners of emergency medicine with the tools to understand and address the human experiences of health and illness, and to serve the Hopkins and Baltimore communities by improving the delivery of patient-centered care built upon cultural humility.
